Creating a basis for decision-making: new study on the foresight community

More and more researchers and decision-makers are using foresight methods to better anticipate future developments and make strategic decisions. As part of the EU project ‘Eye of Europe’, DLR Projektträger has now produced a study on the European foresight landscape.

Upcoming Event: Brussels FutureTalks on Research Security

The 9th edition of the "Brussels FutureTalks" on 20 June will focus on the dynamics of international cooperation and research security. Under the topic "Research Security – Translating Policies into Practical Solutions", EU and national policy makers as well as experts from the field will discuss solutions.

Federal Report on Research and Innovation 2024 published

The German Federal Cabinet has approved the new Federal Report on Research and Innovation (BuFI). Every two years, the report provides information on the structures, priorities and objectives of German research and innovation policy. DLR Projektträger is largely responsible for the editorial support and process control of the BuFI.

Brussels FutureTalks: Vocational training in focus

In the 8th edition of the "Brussels FutureTalks" organised by DLR Projektträger and partners, around 60 experts from vocational education and training (VET), politics and economic and social partners in Europe discussed how European VET can be made more inclusive in order to better manage the transition to a green and digital future.

New trend analysis on competitiveness in the Western Balkans published

On behalf of the Regional Cooperation Council, DLR Projektträger has conceptualised and drafted the trend study "Unleashing the Potential for Competitiveness: Trends in the Western Balkans". The study identifies and analyses trends and their implications for the region's competitiveness until 2035.

Event: Brussels FutureTalks on vocational education and training in Europe

On 12 March, the DLR Projektträger "Brussels FutureTalks" will enter the next round. The event "Vocational Education and Training in Europe: Shaping a More Inclusive Future" will bring together experts from (vocational) education and training, politics, networks and the economic and social partners in the European Year of Skills.

2024 will be a pivotal year for European science diplomacy

The DLR Projektträger is supporting the further development of European science diplomacy on behalf of the European Commission. Strengthening teachers' digital skills

The programme Competence Centres for Digital and Digitally Supported Teaching in Schools and Further Education supports teachers in strengthening their digital skills and in using digital tools in a didactically and pedagogically meaningful way.
