How to get there
Getting there by public transport
From Dresden Central Station
Take the S1 or S2 heading for Dresden Flughafen to Dresden Mitte (journey time 4 minutes). Walk along Könneritzstraße/B173 for about one minute, heading south-west, towards Jahnstraße.
From Dresden Neustadt station
Take the S2, RE18 or RE50 heading for Dresden Hauptbahnhof or tram Number 41 heading for Waldschlößchen - Betriebshof Gorbitz to Dresden Mitte (journey time 4, or 6 minutes). Walk one minute along Könneritzstraße/B173, heading southwest towards Jahnstraße.
Getting there by car
A13 motorway (from Berlin)
Coming on the A13, at motorway junction Dresden Nord, change to the A4, heading for direction of Chemnitz/Prag/Dresden/Flughafen. At exit 79-Dresden-Neustadt, drive on to Dresden-Neustadt/Coswig/Radebeul Keep left, following signs for Dresden/Elbe Park, and then carry on along Washingtonstraße, Hamburger Str. and Schäferstraße to Könneritzstraße/B173
A14 motorway (from Chemnitz, Nuremberg, Munich)
Follow A14 to Meißner Landstraße/B6 in Dresden, and take A4 exit 78-Dresden-Altstadt. Follow the B6, taking Hamburger Str. and Schäferstraße to Könneritzstraße/B173.
Getting there by plane
From Dresden Airport railway station (total time approx. 20 minutes) In the bottom floor of the airport, take S-Bahn S2 (heading for Pirna Bahnhof) to Dresden Mitte. Walk along Könneritzstraße/B173 for one minute, heading southwest towards Jahnstraße. Travel time by taxi approx. 20 minutes
Getting there on foot
From Dresden Central Station (total time approx. 30 minutes) In the forecourt of the main station, turn left heading northeast, walk past the station to your left, then take the first road on the right, turn left into Ammonstraße and follow this road. Ammonstraße then becomes Könneritzstraße. Travel time by taxi from Central Station: approx. 7 min.
From Dresden-Neustadt station (total time approx. 22 min.) Head west on Antonstraße/B6, and continue on Könneritzstraße/B173. Journey time by taxi from Dresden Neustadt station: approx. 8 min.
