To meet our trademark standards, we operate a quality management system that has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 for more than 15 years.
The independent staff unit for quality and environmental management as well as our quality assurance for funding management ensure reliable, safe processes and results.

In addition, we have established an environmental management system to promote – and demand – sustainable working. In October 2018, we were certified according to the ISO 14001 environmental standard, and in May 2021 according to the information security standard ISO 27001. This means we have an integrated management system that meets three ISO standards at the same time.

The certificates of the DLR-PT management system:

  • DIN EN ISO 9001: Quality Management
DIN ISO 9001 describes the criteria of a process-oriented quality management system and how it should be implemented and documented.
  • DIN EN ISO 14001: Environmental management
We use DIN ISO 14001 to develop environmental goals and derive measures from them as part of our management system. The basis for this is DLR-PT's environmental policy.
  • DIN EN ISO / IEC 27001: Information security
Via DIN ISO 27001, the project management organisation defines all guidelines, processes and procedures that serve to identify the handling of sensitive data & information and to take appropriate measures to minimise risks.
  • ISO 50001 – Energy Management
DIN ISO 50001 certification through the DLR-wide central energy management system supports all energy-relevant processes and creates the basis for resource-efficient, continuous improvement of the energy performance of the entire DLR.
